Yes, it is indeed a real, working clock styled after the greatest puzzle toy of the 1980s, the Rubik's Cube. And it's quite clever with its four functions -- clock, alarm, calendar, and temperature -- which you select by rotating the top row of the cube. The calendar function displays both date and day of the week. The temperature reads both fahrenheit and celsius.
